  KITTYLING

Kittyling is a high school student who is madly in love with all things artsy and Asian. She currently lives in Reston, Virginia, though she was born in Sweden and has country-hopped ever since--and she's determined to make it to Japan before her 25th birthday.

Kitty has been a fantasy dork ever since she was little, sucked into the world of dragons and knights in shining armor at the age of 5 when she was taken to her first Renaissance Festival. She still digs medieval history, and devours Tolkien and Anne Rice novels whenever she gets the chance. She discovered the beauty of Japanese animation when she was 8, and has been quite the rabid fangirl ever since; her true love in life, however, is the arts, dipping into graphic design, photography, comic art, painting, creative writing--you name it, she'd probably try it. She speaks in the third person because it sounds cool. And the biscuits tell her to.

  Warnings

All of the fiction on this page is based on the works of other spiffy, highly talented people unless otherwise noted. Kitty does not claim to own any of these characters/series etc, and she makes zero profit from borrowing them for her own entertainment. No suing, s'il te plait.

All of the fiction below is written with an adult audience in mind. Some of it is kid-friendly, but more often than not you'll be dealing with material with some amount of sexual content, violence, and homosexuality. Check your labels and read responsibly--those warnings are there for a reason.

  Gravitation

Gravitation was one of those fandoms I was never really interested in writing for, but when the Yuletide fic exchange came around in November '03, I jotted down Yuki/Shuuichi as a pairing I was willing to try. Although I probably won't delve into the fandom again, I still adore the series, as nutty as the characters and plotline are. (If you don't believe me about the nutty bit, read the later volumes of the manga. Giant robo panda!)

  Full Metal Alchemist

  Weiss Kreuz

I'd been into Weiss Kreuz for a good two years before I actually started writing for it. Nothing better than a series that comes off as a campy, gay horror flick to inspire the plotbunnies. Pairings-wise, I immediately became attached to Aya and Omi when I got my paws on the TV series and manga, and the fact that no one was writing for those two together for the longest time made me very, very sad, until I discovered that Sephy and Amet liked them, too. This lead to the birth of the Aya/Omi livejournal community, Rose and Freesia, and the website of the same name. Go worship the pretty. ^^

  Wolf's Rain

I fell in love with Wolf's Rain immediately after seeing the first episode of the anime (which I still maintain is one of the best first episodes of any series out there). Gorgeous animation, equally gorgeous music, and pretty wolf boys. If that wasn't reason enough to fangirl, imagine how amused I was when I got to episode four, and there was licking between Tsume and Toboe. We're going to ignore the fact that Toboe looks like a twelve-year-old girl and Tsume looks...scary (but still yummy!), on occasion, because they're just so cute.

  X/1999

X is a series that pretty much screeched "WRITE FIC!" at me as soon as I'd read the first few volumes of the manga. And, per usual, I'm part of the minority with my pairing preference--Subaru/Kamui. I could babble on for hours about why I love them so, but I'll save that rant for another day. On to the ficcage!

  Yami no Matsuei

Yami no Matsuei. What can I say about Yami? It was one of the first fandoms I ever wrote for, and probably holds my record for the most fics in any one series. (Not like that's saying much.) Yami holds a speshul (yes, speshul) place in my heart, since it was how I met most of the FI girls and we all know how much I <3 them. (And the insane cuteness of Tsuzuki and Hisoka is a plus.)

Once upon a time, when I was feeling particularly fangirly, I started up a Livejournal community for Yami fics. Go check it out, and the lovely Phantom Moon archive, which teh Kitty is happy site auntie of.
