Notes: This was originally written for the "Just looking" challenge on x_100, but I cut it down to 150 words and didn't want to kill anymore of it, so it'll just have to live here. ^.~ A Clamp Campus Detectives Drabble by Amet "It's absolutely exquisite!" Nokoru tittered. Suoh despised tittering, usually accompanied by that little sparkle in his senpai's eyes that meant trouble was brewing. He watched the blonde lean conspiratorially towards Ijyuin and tried not to cringe at the smirk Nokoru threw his way. "It's too heavy for costumes," said Nokoru, tapping his fan against his chin thoughtfully and glancing up into the rafters looming above. "But it would be perfect for curtains. Unfortunately, the way the budget's been lately the only way they'll let us replace them is if they were stolen again." Ijyuin hummed his agreement, and Suoh caught a familiar sparkle in his kohai's eyes. "Try it," he warned, "and we will have an answer to the question of whether 20 Mensou can outrun a ninja." Ijyuin blanched, face draining of color, and Nokoru fluttered his fan admonishingly. "Honestly Suoh, we were just looking." His smile said otherwise. return to splash page |
