AMET
Amet is a stereotypical Aquarius, a cat codependent, and a terribly mushy person whenever she gets a chance to chatter on about how much she loves her Sephy. She bears an uncanny resemblance to the model in John William Waterhouse’s The Shrine, is hyper-analytical, and frequently suspects that she may be trapped in a wayward chapter of Reviving Ophelia. She is currently a graduate student studying School Psychology at a university in southern Georgia, though she was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and finds this whole southern politeness thing a bit baffling. She also believes that speaking in the third person is the first sign of a disturbed mind.
Warnings
All of the fiction herein is based on the works of other authors/mangaka/animators/etc unless otherwise noted. I am not personally affiliated with any large corporations, and thus we can all assume that I'm gacking these characters without permission. I make no profit and have no money that isn't on loan to pay for my education anyway, so suing me would be just this side of futile.
All of the fiction below is written with an adult audience in mind. It may not all be sexual, violent, or gay, but more often than not you'll be dealing with one or more of the three as you would with just about any novel you pick up out of the fiction section at Barnes and Noble. Check your labels and read responsibly--those warnings are on there for a reason.

CLAMP
I had a hard time actually getting into X-verse, what with the pain and the endless hopelessness of the entire storyline, and for a while I just sort of put it down, finished off my Tokyo Babylon scanlations and forgot about it.
Then one day Sephy picked up a copy of Clamp Campus Detectives and XXXholic and we realized the expansiveness of the universe as a whole. (And how damn adorable Nokoru really is. ^^) Now CLAMP's work, both X-verse and beyond, have been awarded temporary custody of my brain. >>;; We'll see if things get more permanent than that.
Epitaph -- [X/1999] Kakyou muses on his lack of feeling towards Subaru. (PG-13, loads of bitterness, het, talk of yaoi, Kakyou/Hokuto and mention of Subaru/Seishirou)
Just Looking -- [Clamp Campus Detectives] Suoh squashes another brilliant idea. (G, fluffy goodness)
Your Eden -- [X/Tokyo Babylon] Sumeragi Hokuto hates being a survivor. An X/TB crossover of sorts. (AU, PG-13, swearing, allusions to death and destruction)
Cute -- [Chobits] A kitten is not the cutest thing Zima has ever seen. (PG-13, Shounen ai of the robotic kind, excessive bitching, Dita/Zima, Hideki/Chi)
Fraternity -- [Tokyo Babylon] Subaru was not gay. (PG, hints of TWINCEST, hints of S/S)
Gravity -- (with Sephy) [Crossover] In the final moments of 1999, a choice is made that changes everything. (R/NC-17ish; Crossovery-goodness, swearing, sex, violence, gore, death, yaoi, random bits of comic relief. Subaru/Kamui, Suoh/Nokoru, Hokuto/Kakyo, Akira/Utako, and anyone else we can think to throw in. Also the bulk of this fic takes place after the final battle, so expect a few missing faces. As well as shameless crossovers with pretty much any CLAMP manga we feel like dropping in (though we promise to make sense while doing it).
Prologue ~ Chapter One
Overboard -- [Clamp Campus Detectives] He just doesn't have the heart to explain it. (G, shades of N/S, ficlet)
Poser -- [X/1999] Subaru hates kittens. No really. (G, shades of S/K, ficlet)
Threesome -- [Clamp Campus Detectives] Suoh just doesn't see Akira that way. (PG-13, shades of N/S/A, ficlet)
Doctor Who
Doctor Who is one of those über-nerdy shows I used to mock Sephy for liking back in the day, giggling at the novels scattered about the house and the vague memories I had of the eighth doctor and the movie most British fans pretend never happened because he kissed a girl, gaspshockdie! And then Christopher Eccleston was cast as the Doctor in the new series and I found myself completely unable to resist the beauty of all that unabashed chessy scifi goodness. Several hours of Tom Baker marathoning later, and I'm addicted enough to write for it. ...You can stop cackling now, Sephy. ><;;
Echoes of You -- Rose finds herself in a sticky situation with a man who puts the 'strange' back in stranger. (PGish, mild swearing. Vague spoilers for "Dalek".)
FAKE
My foray into Fake fandom happened when Kira happened to mention the manga on LJ one day when I was puttering about in search of a distraction, and being the dyed-in-the-wool mystery junkie that I am, I fell in love after reading the first act. Granted all the discrepancies in the way the precinct operates drive me up the wall, but it's a fun read and it's more than inspiring to write fic for if only because the fact that the story is set in New York City is a great excuse to use all those colloquialisms you're not really allowed to drop into anime fic...not to mention copspeak. Gabs and gabs of good old fashioned copspeak. ^^
Foamy the Squirrel
Foamy is my lord and master. No really.
Clarity -- Claaaarity, which comes from theeeerapy!
(PG-13, habitual rudeness, ficlet)
Fruits Basket
Fruit's Basket is a fandom that I never really got the urge to write for, because the plotting of the anime and manga is tight enough that I really didn't want to mess with it. I was perfectly willing to RP it, however, which is how I got onto the rather obscure pairing of Momiji/Haru. A friend of ours was having a birthday and going through a Furuba phase, and had mentioned that she found the pairing amusing, so I wrote a fic. It's not the best thing I've ever written, but it's as close to fluff as I've ever gotten and deserves a mention for that alone.
Home -- Haru comes home, and finds it in a different place than he expected. Written for Gaki, because it was her birthday and she is ever so sweet and nifty, and because she actually likes Haru/Momiji. (PG, Haru/Momiji, slight Yuki/Kyou)
Gravitation
Gravitation is the great gateway anime for boys love fans. There's not much I can say about it other than the fact that after RPing it for an entire summer (and it is, in fact, the only RP I've ever been on that actually continually survived), fic was inevitable (even if the one thing I wrote for it was total crack).
Denial -- Hiro protests, Tatsuha runs right over him. (PG-13ish, Tatsuha/Hiro, mentions of Hiro/Ayaka, Allusions to sex of the m/m variety)
Gundam Wing
Gundam Wing is one of those gateway anime fandoms that I'm convinced everyone has been a part of at some time or another. Say what you want about it, but the fanfiction Mecca that is GWfandom taught me a lot about writing for characters with more mature undertones than my first attempt with the Tomorrow People. I didn't get a whole lot finished, mind you, but I'm rather proud of what I did accomplish in my time among the masses, and this fandom still holds a special place in my jaded little heart.
(Most of this stuff is 1x2 or 3x4.)
~ Finished Pieces
Children of the Revolution -- The classic wartime introspection with a side of citrus. (NC 17, 1x2, angst, lemony goodness)
Sight Without a Sense of Feeling -- A year after the Barton Rebellion, Trowa thought he had settled down for good at his sister's circus... until an old friend returned to ask for his help. (PG-13, nascent 3x4, painfully analytical POV... winner of a Zozzy award in 2002)
Night Swimming -- The companion piece to Sight Without a Sense of Feeling that somehow managed to drag out for thirty odd pages. Duo and Heero get recruited. (R/NC 17, 2x1, lime-y goodness, Noin being a doof)
Surrealism -- Duo muses on life and death, alone in a cell aboard G's ship in Episode Zero. Written for a drabble meme on Livejournal. (rated PG)
~
Unfinished Works
Between the Shadows -- Affectionately referred to as 'Dr. Yuy', this was my first attempt at a Gundam Wing fic. Essentially a fusion with Caleb Carr's fabulous book 'The Alienist', this follows the trials of an unlikely group of detectives in late nineteenth century New York. (R, 1x2, 3x4, 6xHilde, character death [this is a murder mystery], violence, gore, prostitution & other adult themes, and a total disregard for the sanctity of religion)
Prologue -- Part 1 -- Part 2
Violent Indigo -- Otherwise known as the fic that tried to eat our lives. Co-authored with Sephy, this fic may or may not be worked on in the near future, as the world we built around it will not leave us alone. Duo-centric, and heavy on the angst, VI takes place five years after the end of the wars, in a world where the Gundam Pilots have been forced to go to ground to save themselves from peace touting zealots and the ever stalker-esque Relena Darlain. Duo is forced to return from exile when one of the boys is killed in the line of duty, and vows to find the killer as he comes to terms with his place in the post war world. (R, 1x2, 3x4, major character death [it's over by the prologue], violence, gore, and a really crappy outlook on life courtesy of one Duo Maxwell)
Prologue -- Part 1
Lost
If you're not at least mildly familiar with Lost, I'd guess you've been living under a rock for the past year and a half. We resisted watching the scifi breakout show after one too many people tried to tell us it was "just like the X-Files" or The Outer Limits, or most damming, the schlock reality series Survivor. Then my mother bought us the DVD box set for season one and it ate our lives for a week, because I'm big on that waste not want not thing. Fic ensued.
Ave Maria -- This is a test, Charlie thinks, and he will fail. (R; drug imagery; mild spoilers for season 1)
Original
Not much to say on this one. Sometimes the spirit moves away from fandom, and who am I to argue?
Purgatory -- I can't really describe this one without spoiling it, but suffice it to say that it is weird. No warnings aside from that, and possibly a bit of cynicism.
Revolutionary Girl Utena
Utena was my token yuri anime for a while, at least until I actually managed to get past the first season and into the wonder of the Black Rose Saga, which made me go O.O in a big way. I think I ♥ Mikage almost as much as I ♥ Utena and Anthy. Well them and Miki and Juri and... you get the picture.
Emptiness -- Mikage muses. (100 word drabble, PG, existentialism)
Weiss Kreuz
Weiss Kreuz is one of those fandoms I swore I would never get into. For the longest time it was that other thing some of the writers I knew in Gundam were doing, and I cheerfully sneered at the fandom and the sadly plothole-riddled anime that spawned it until Sephy sat me down one weekend to watch the entirety of Kapital (the first series) at once. Wow was I not expecting to get that attached to the characters, especially Aya and Omi, and when we found out that no one seemed to be writing the two of them together (and hello? Does the Takatori mess not suggest to anyone else that a little injection of UST would make for good angsty fic?), we decided to co-author a series. It snowballed from there.
And by snowballed I mean that we created an entire archive dedicated to the pairing, so if you like what you read here and find yourself with a sudden hankering to read more about my two favorite Weiss kittens (and believe me, from Sephy there has been loads more), Rose and Freesia is the best (and as far as we know the only) place to find it.
But um, yes... my adventures in Weiss-dom are below. ^^;; Shutting up now.
~ Series: Give Unto Me
Nice to Know You -- (Co-authored with Sephy.) A mission gone awry and Omi finds himself trapped in an elevator while Aya fights for his life. With the Abyssinian wounded and angry in the aftermath, can Omi keep the faith that his teammates are more than just a collection of strangers when the others seem determined to prove him wrong? (PG-13 - AU, blood, swearing, some adult content thanks to Yohji, shades of Omi/Aya)
The Color of Roses -- (Co-authored with Sephy.) Unexpected events lead to a deepening understanding between Aya and Omi. And pizza, because there really should be pizza. (R - AU, swearing, angst, some mature content, nascent Omi/Aya)
~
Series: Places For Breathing
One More Murder -- Ken is never prepared for the way the world changes. (R; Ken/Sena, Aya/Omi, eventual mentions of Yohji/nurse!Asuka; Character death of the canon kind, spoilers for the final confrontation in Gluhen, swearing, depression, a general anger-management theme.)
Consolation -- He wakes from a sea of nightmares. (Rish; Character death of the canon kind, Ken/Sena, a general theme of life-sucks-ness.)
Breathing Room -- Persia's not expecting the call when it comes. (PG-13; Aya/Omi, half-baked allusions to Nagi/Tot. Small spoilers for Gluhen canon, talk of Crashers canon because Knight is funny, light swearing and lime-y fun.)
Whispers -- Itou Ryou loves his wife. It's the only thing he's certain of, anymore. (PG-13; Yohji/nurse!Asuka, Aya/Omi, a hinting of Ken/Sena, angst, spoilers for most of Gluhen and bits of the drama CDs.)
Our Father -- Ken gets a visit in prison. (Swearing, small spoilers for Gluhen canon. Cut scene from Whispers.)
~ Other Weiss fics
Silence ~ Persia muses. (PG, Aya + Omi, Gluhenverse)
Wolf's Rain
Wolf's Rain was one of those things that came completely out of left field. Lys sent us the first seventeen episodes and commanded us to watch it, and I thought, 'Yoko Kanno thought it was good enough to do the soundtrack for, it can't be all bad,' and promptly got sucked in. It's pathetically pretty, the music is enough to make you want to cry, and oh dear lord Tsume and Toboe. It's probably wrong to want a guy who looks like bondage GI Joe to get with a kid who looks like a twelve year old girl, but dammit there is licking on screen. I'm not responsible for my actions if they're going to dangle something like that in front of me.
And so there was fic, because as darling as this pairing is, there was nothing to read for it that didn't make my brain hurt. ;_;
The Great Divide -- 'It had been association that had kept him coming back in the beginning, the strange horror that twisted in his gut every time the naïve kid got himself into a situation he couldn't handle, and something in Tsume just knew Toboe would have lasted about a day on his own...' (PG-13, yaoi, lime-y kissing, much in the way of bitching, Tsume/Toboe)
Trash -- 'You fought the trash cans.' Part of a drabble meme, written for Odile. (PG, general grumpiness, slightest hints of Tsume/Toboe and Hige/Blue if you squint really hard)
Yami no Matsuei
Yami no Matsuei is a fandom for which I've been more prolific than I've been in the entirety of my fanfiction writing career. (Which sounds ridiculously pretentious, but erm... I didn't mean it that way? ^^;;) I could wibble on all day about the characters and the plotline and how much I just squee every time Tsuzuki and Hisoka have a moment, but I'll spare you and just assume you know I'm smitten. ^_-
Sephy and I (and to varying extents, the rest of the crew here) run the YnM archive Phantom Moon if you get a hankering for more after you're done here.
~ Series: Sleep to Dream
The Ending Hour ~ (1st) Hisoka is plagued by vivid dreams of an ethereal stranger and the other self who will love him. As his mortal existence finally ends, a visit from an enigmatic stranger offers a chance at happiness, and may bring more complications to the afterlife than he ever imagined. (PG-13; AUish, deathfic on a technicality, macabre humor, minor gore, and hyperactive Watari. Nascent Hisoka x Tsuzuki.)
Shadows of Ourselves ~ (2nd) Tatsumi endeavors to keep Tsuzuki away from the office as he prepares for the arrival of a new employee, but the older man is less than cooperative. In the face of Tsuzuki's objections and Watari's scheming, he wonders if he can still maintain some measure of objectivity where the two of them are concerned, or if his worry over Tsuzuki's situation will compromise his ability to work with the new arrival. Meanwhile, Hisoka attempts to acclimate himself to his new home and the people within it, beginning a search for answers as the dreams begin to shift into something entirely different. (PG-13; minor angst, minor swearing, and still with the hyperactive Watari. Nascent Hisoka x Tsuzuki and some ambiguous hand holding between Tatsumi and Watari.)
part 1 ~ part 2
Walking Wounded ~ (3rd) First night on the job, and not only has Hisoka got a massive hangover, but the dreams have found new, more exciting ways to torment him, literally. Can he do what must be done in the face of temptation, or will Tsuzuki’s persistence kill his resolve? (R; AUish, sex, swearing and angsty goodness. Hisoka x Tsuzuki.)
Somewhere in the Middle ~ (4th) Watari confronts Tatsumi about his sudden hermit-ish behavior with a little friend for backup, while Tsuzuki and Hisoka have a talk about pie, Muraki, and the events of the Nagasaki arc. (Rish. Swearing, references to NCS, mangling of innocent pie and insistent doodle kins. Tsuzuki/Hisoka in whatever order and Tatsumi + Watari.)
See a pic of Raul
Breathe You In ~ (5th) Tsuzuki's thoughts on nightmares, pedophilia, and his strange attraction to his new partner. (PG-13. Swearing, angst, passing references to past NCS, possibly spoilery bits for Devil’s Trill. Tsuzuki x Hisoka and fun hinting at Watari/Tatsumi.)
Catching Stupid's Arrows ~ (6th) Another day, another dream with Touda doing his best to reenact a bad Hammer film. Hisoka just can't catch a break. (R for truncated sexual content and language. More possible spoilery bits for Devil's Trill. Tsuzuki x Hisoka.)
~
Other YnM fics
Happy Face ~ A crappy day in the life of Terazuma Hajime. (PG-13; swearing, pissy Terazuma. Terazuma+Wakaba, TsuzukixHisoka, hints of Watari+Tatsumi)
Hold On ~ What's a boy to think after he's forced to come a hair's breath from killing the man he loves? A cut scene from the Devil's Trill that is totally independent of Sleep to Dream and its larger timeline. (PG-13; swearing, fun descriptions of gore, angst-ness. HisokaxTsuzuki)
Hakushaku Drabble ~ Written for WolfPilot06, who wanted a drabble that centered on Hakushaku's opinion of Hisoka. It ended up being more of a mini-fic, but I rather like the irreverence of the POV on this. (PG-13, barely there lime, Tsuzuki/Hisoka)
Hisoka Drabble ~ Affectionately known as 'Hisoka and the bootilicious outfit', this was written for Bekquai, who asked for an explanation of that infamous picture in the character book of Hisoka at the beach in short-shorts and a shirt that doesn't even attempt to cover his midriff... and yet somehow not looking murderous. You all know which one I'm talking about. (PG-13, light, light lime, Tsuzuki/Hisoka)
